Why I Started Statisfy: Building NextGen AI Native Customer Intelligence

Statisfy is an AI-native customer intelligence platform, born from a deep-rooted belief in the transformative power of technology and a commitment to revolutionizing how we approach customer intelligence. Here's my story behind why I started Statisfy and what drives our mission.

Rethinking the Approach to Customer Intelligence

In my tenure at Bloomreach, scaling the technology from the first customer to the 100th customer, I consistently observed a significant gap in how companies understood and engaged with their customers. Despite the abundance of data and analytical tools, there was an evident struggle to harness this information effectively for meaningful customer interactions and outcomes.

Over the past decade, the explosion of data has led to B2B software becoming bloated with complicated dashboards and interfaces, which are challenging for users to navigate.

For me, it was hard to ignore the need for a more intuitive, intelligent, and collaborative approach to customer intelligence. It was not just about bringing the data into a single place, it was time for a bigger shift – leveraging AI to bridge the gap.

My journey in machine learning spans over a decade, during which I worked on a wide array of problems. I witnessed firsthand the remarkable evolution of these technologies. But when large language models (LLMs) emerged, it felt like a quantum leap.


There was no ignoring the potential of LLMs and generative AI to fundamentally change how users get their work done, interact with software, and make sense of data.

That’s when I knew that using Gen AI to elevate customer intelligence to the next level was the challenge I wanted to sink my teeth into.

That was how I met my co-founder, Munish, who shared my belief in a) the need for a shift in the current approach to Customer Success and b) the power of AI to make it happen.

Building Statisfy: The Journey So Far

Our journey began with conversations with industry professionals to grasp their day-to-day operations, current pain points, and tool landscape. Engaging with 50+ CSMs, CCOs, CROs, PMs in enterprise companies, we uncovered common themes surrounding challenges with customer interaction and data management. 

What we saw was CS professionals resorting to makeshift solutions like Google Docs and spreadsheets. Despite attempts at manual "smart" copy-pasting into existing systems, the lack of insight and automation was glaring.

What emerged from these discussions was a clear gap between existing solutions and the real-world challenges faced by businesses, particularly in customer engagement and data management.

We were convinced – more than ever – of the need for a smarter way to deliver Customer Success. One that inspired joy and engagement, one that fostered collaboration, one that democratized customer insights, without subjecting Account Management teams to hours of drudgery and repetitive tasks.

We knew it was time to leverage the best of AI to create a platform that transforms customer intelligence into a more proactive, informed, and cohesive effort across teams.
